Good for the price

For the price, you can't beat this. It's solid wood, minus the toy screws and nails, and I love that it comes with pieces that the kiddos can actually play with. I have a couple minor complaints that made me take off a star...

First, some of the holes are super tight to get the screw in that it's difficult for the child to get it in all the way, sometimes its even hard for me to get it in, and this has caused splintering in the wood from the screw slipping while trying to get it going. Second, a couple of the blocks have holes that are too large for screws and too small for nails, so the only option is to use a screw with a nut, limiting the build manipulations for the child. Finally, the screws tend to break easily if you over tighten them. This only happened during assembly. You actually use the toy screws and hex wrench for part of the assembly, and if you're not careful you can break the head right off the screw.

Overall, affordable, adorable, and my son (almost 3) loves it! It's the perfect size for a toddler. Better than the plastic work bench toy.
