This play pen is great for independent play. We opted to get this size because we had the room for this rectangle one, but I do see a lot of others with more of a smaller square one. This play pen is huge and me, my son, and his father can play in there together. Sometimes my son and my two nieces play in there for a good while. Beware it will be toy storage sometimes if you let it accumulate, ha. It wasnβt hard to assemble, but because of the size we never took it apart and brought it anywhere else. We wouldnβt say it is portable. It is pretty stable for a 1-3 year old to play in.
Wonderful purchase, my only complaint is the play mat, not the best quality. Had to order a different one.
Our one year old has become quite the little explorer/climber and has outgrown your average playpen. My husband and I decided it was time to get our little one something spacious and not so easy to escape.
I went with the largest option along with the reversible mat. The shipping was on time. It took my husband around 45 minutes from start to finish. There are lots of pieces and the instructions are a little weird but we got it up! Weβve had our play yard for about a month now and so far, we are very happy with this item.
